A joyful heart is the inevitable result of a heart burning with love.
 Isabella was born July 5th, 1979 to what she believed to be wonderful parents, Anthony and Nicolette Falconeri. At the firework show New York City always had over the harbor, her mother's water broke because of all the excitement and noise. Much to everyone's surprise, Isabella did not take as long her brothers. The evening of that very next day, the Falconeri family welcomed her into the world. As she grew up, She never understood what the family business meant. In her eyes, her father was a business man who made a lot of money. When the family expanded, she did her best to help her mother around the house. She was at first did not like her sister, Teresa, because she was the baby of the family until she came. Eventually, Isabel got over it and enjoyed having someone other than her brothers around. At a young age, she attended a highly prestiged private school Miami in. The kids would treat her differently and she could never understand why. She always thought that it was because of she had older brothers who could possibly beat them up. In high school and with her brothers gone, she still was treated the same. Every time she would try and talk to a guy, he would get scared and run off. Going to her mom, she told her that she felt like an outsider and her mother would just sigh and give her daughter a hug but never gave her a real reason why they were like that. Her curiousity got the best of her one night when she over heard her brothers talking about "the family business" and she was caught. Instead of her father getting angry, he took his daughter into his den and explained everything. He called her a his mafia princess. Her and her father were already close but the fact that she knew about what actually he did made them closer. Once she knew, she wanted to be apart of the family business. Her mother objected at first since she wanted her daughters to have no part in it but Nicolette saw that Izzy was exactly like her father, stubborn and persistant, and eventually gave in. She had one condition: Isabella had to go to college. Nicolette knew that Izzy was not the type of person to be whacking people off and what not. And she wasn't.
Fishing around for colleges, she got the idea of going to Culinary school. It was a stretch from what her father wanted her to do but he did not object and let her go. She went to Culinary Academy at first. Learning everything she could there, she found out that she did love cooking after all. After completing her Culinary Arts and Culinary Arts Management degree, she wanted to know more her hertiages cooking since she always loved her mother and grandmothers' food. At the ripe age of 20, Isabella packed her bags and moved Firenze, Italy. It was when everything in her life changed. She met the man of her dreams who loved cooking as much as she did. Two years of dating, she was in love with him. The day they got married was a bit of a whim for them. The only people that were there was Isabella, Jackson, their two friends from school and an italian priest were all in attendence as the sunset in Firenze. Shortly after the wedding, she called her family to tell them the news. Being family oriented, they didnt take it too lightly but eventually came around. Her brothers gave him a tough time but it was all in good manner. Once school was completed, her and Jackson flew back to the states and settled in Staten Island. A month after their arrival in the city, she found out she was expecting. While carrying the child, her and Jackson along with the help of her families receipes and food secrets, opened up Falconeri's. It was an italian restaurant that had home made and real italian food. It would also be a safe place for her father to conduct his business meetings with the other members. Here she was, seven months pregnant and waiting tables. If she had it her way, she would have ended up giving birth in that restaurant. On March 28, 2002, Nicola Ashford was born. Everything was great for their family...that is until 2004 when someone came into the restaurant wanting to speak with Anthony Falconeri. He was not in and the man was furious. Instead of leaving the joint, he decided to leave a message for Anthony. If it was not for Jackson, Isabella would no longer on this planet. He died in her arms before the ambulence came. Thus causing the oldest sister to be back in the business for vengence. Eventually her brothers found the guy and even let her get the anger she felt towards him out of her system. Even though she could not kill the guy herself, she let the boys make him swim with the fishes. As time went on, she told herself she would never let anyone know about what her family did for their safety. Keeping Nicola's last name Ashford was apart of that. She couldn't allow Jackson's fate happen to her daughter. Now with the restaurant booming, Isabella had to hire a nanny full time just so her daughter would have someone at all times. Her hiring someone outside of the family was her only option. She did not want to have the fear of her daughter going missing or end up dead. Nicola was all she had left that reminded her of Jackson. With every year that went by, her family did their best to get Isabella out there and dating but she never could come to terms to it. Even after five years, she still misses him something fierce.
When hearing news about her fathers death from her brother, Sal, Isabella tried her hardest to be brave for her younger siblings. She always knew her father would eventually die but it was something that she was not prepared for. Making the important phone call to her siblings about his murder was something that had caused her to break down each time she got off the phone. Death was back into her life and this time, she had to worry about how Nicola was going to take it. Putting into terms for a child to understand was a bit difficult for her but she had to do it. Life without Anthony Falconeri is something that she is still trying to cope with but with a booming business and raising her daughter, Isabella Falconeri is a strong minded person who wants nothing more than happiness for her family.
